It is our greatest calling to worship God, and to enjoy God forever. We hope you will imagine this time of worship
to be very centered, not on ourselves, but on God.
Many voices will participate, and many thoughts and prayers
will be shared, all in the interest of honoring the one who made us and called us here. The sermons will be challenging, the
music will support the theme and message of the day, and the scripture will be central. Not just a line or two, but enough
Scripture to hear the context and the deeper emphasis of its time, and in so doing, better understand what God is saying to
us in this day and time.
Come any Sunday to see and feel and experience worship of God with us.
Our worship moves from "Gathering around the Word" in song and prayer, to "Preparing for the Word"
in confession, to "Sharing in the Word" through scripture readings, sermon, and anthem, to "Responding to the
Word" in affirmations and offerings, to "Sealing the Word" in sacraments, to "Bearing the Word" in
closing song, charge, and benediction. The Worship at Rehoboth is Word centered.
